Over the years we have had the opportunity to host many great groups and families at our places on Lake Missaukee. We gear our properties to family groups with kids, infants to toddlers to teens and those who are kids at heart. We enjoy what we do. We enjoy watching and witnessing these families come onto the property with expectancy with a bit of uncertainty in the faces of the “new comers”. As they unwind themselves from their vehicles and take a look around at their surroundings, they begin to relax as they are sure they have picked the right spot for their week’s vacation.
We also enjoy seeing again and again the “old comers”. We have become friends over the years. Some of these groups have been coming for a dozen summer seasons and we have been able to witness their children grow up from toddlerhood to teen.
To us this says something… we must be providing a comfortable and safe place for their families to come year after year. Obviously, they come for their family and friends, but to come to one particular property for many consecutive years means that they are happy here.
